Auterion and Airlogix establish a joint venture.
During the Munich Security Conference, Auterion (Germany) and Airlogix (Ukraine) announced the creation of a joint venture, Auterion Airlogix Joint Venture GmbH.
The goal of the partnership is to produce AI-guided UAVs for Ukraine and NATO allies.
This is one of the largest European projects to scale up the production of unmanned systems for Ukraine.
What the partnership entails:
The joint venture combines Airlogix's combat experience and proven UAVs with Auterion's autonomous software (AI navigation, autonomous control, resistance to electronic warfare) and Germany's manufacturing infrastructure.
Production will be located in Germany. This will ensure stable supply chains and the ability to quickly ramp up production volumes. The Ukrainian government has already requested thousands of UAVs and confirmed long-term cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Defense on the supply of autonomous systems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This is the first example of the systematic integration of Ukrainian combat experience, NATO standards, and European defense production. In fact, a new model of defense cooperation between European countries is emerging — fast, technological, and scale-oriented.
The first deliveries are scheduled for 2026.
